THE slab racks are ideal for distributors and shops that use a variety of slab sizes.
As inventory is used, posts can be adjusted horizontally,
thus eliminating unused portions of the rails, making space available for replacement slabs.

Construction:
The slab racks consist of a pair of galvanized steel rails 118" (3 meters) long,
together with square steel tube posts.
The square tube sections are 2.36" x 2.36" x .19" (60mm x60mm x 5mm).
The square post can be positioned anywhere along the rack.
All are made from Australian rectangular tube steel, ensuring safety for the vertical storage of slabs.

The maximum number of 2cm thick marble or granite slabs that can be safely stored per bay
based on 8% lean and a 1:1.5 safety margin is as follows:

Using 47-1/4" (1200mm) high post together with maximum size slabs 3.2×1.6x.02: 18 slabs

Using 59" (1500mm) high post together with maximum size slabs 3.2×2.0x.02: 12 slabs

one set can load 6 bundles of slabs.
