Compliance & Excellence

Certifications, Quality & Testing Rigor

Subjecting every raw steel batch, welding joint, and surface coating to rigorous testing to guarantee ultimate safety and structural compliance in high-density storage warehouses.

Safety is Built into Every Structural Welded Joint

In modern industrial warehousing, structural safety is paramount. A minor structural deflection or paint peel in a facility holding thousands of tons of high-bay inventory can result in massive material damage and personal injury. That is why Steelpallet Machinery integrates rigorous testing directly into our ISO9001:2015 certified manufacturing flow.

🛡️ ISO9001:2015 QMS

Our manufacturing plant is audited annually by international certification bodies. The scope includes raw material classification, automated CNC punch/profile lines, robot welding, surface pretreatment, electrostatic coating, and strict final packaging.

🇪🇺 CE Mark Compliance

Our warehouse racking, stackable nestainers, and steel pallets conform to European Economic Area structural steel EN 1090-1 and shelving safety EN 15635 standards. This permits hassle-free deployment in all European Union member states.

🔍 SGS Welding Audits

Our welding procedures (WPS) and welding operators (WPQR) are certified to EN ISO 9606 and AWS D1.1 structural welding standards. Regular non-destructive audits are conducted by SGS technicians to guarantee welding throat thickness.

Q235 and Q345 High-Strength Carbon Steel Sourcing

The strength of a rack starts with the metallurgy of the steel. Steelpallet Machinery sources only from top-tier, state-owned steel mills. Every delivery of raw sheet steel, tube, and wire coil is accompanied by an official Mill Test Certificate (MTC) conforming to EN 10204 3.1.

We use two primary grades of structural steel:

  • Q235B Carbon Steel: Ideal for standard ambient warehouse racking, steel pallets, and mesh containers. Carbon content is strictly maintained at 0.14% – 0.22% to ensure high ductility and optimal robotic welding performance.
  • Q345B High-Strength Alloy Steel: Used for heavy-duty columns, cantilever bases, and low-temperature cold chain racks. Manganese alloy content (1.0% – 1.6%) provides high yield strength (Re ≥ 345 MPa) and low-temperature impact toughness down to -30°C.

Metallurgical Specification Limits

Parameter Q235B Standard Q345B Standard
Carbon (C) ≤ 0.22 % ≤ 0.20 %
Manganese (Mn) 0.30% – 0.65% 1.00% – 1.60%
Yield Strength (Re) ≥ 235 MPa ≥ 345 MPa
Tensile Strength (Rm) 370 – 500 MPa 470 – 630 MPa
Elongation (A) ≥ 26 % ≥ 22 %

Our Three-Tier Quality Inspection Protocol

We execute rigorous physical, chemical, and structural stress tests on every batch of production to ensure flawless performance.

01

Ultrasonic Weld Integrity Scanning (Non-Destructive NDT)

Why it matters: Load-bearing joints on stacking racks and steel pallets are subjected to extreme dynamic stress during loading. Visually perfect welds can still contain internal voids, porosity, or micro-cracking at the root of the weld.

Procedure: Our certified NDT inspectors scan critical welds on upright columns, base joints, and stacking cups using portable ultrasonic wave detectors. High-frequency sound waves identify internal discontinuities. Any component displaying defect sizes larger than 0.5mm is immediately rejected. Weld configurations are strictly designed to exceed AWS D1.1 and EN ISO 15614 welding procedures.

02

Salt Spray Testing & Coating Thickness Profiling

Why it matters: Humidity, industrial vapors, and condensation in sub-zero cold storage units accelerate oxidation. The protective surface coating must adhere perfectly and have sufficient thickness.

Procedure: We use electronic magnetic induction gauges to verify coating thickness. Electrostatic powder coating thickness must measure 70-90μm; hot-dip galvanized coating thickness must measure ≥85μm (complying with ASTM A123 / ISO 1461). Random samples from each run are placed in a 5% NaCl salt spray chamber according to ASTM B117 standards. Powder-coated samples must survive 720 hours, and hot-dip galvanized samples 1000 hours, without showing paint blisters, corrosion creep, or red rust.

03

Real-World Load Deflection & Ultimate Structural Strength Tests

Why it matters: Design loads are theoretical. Physical validation ensures that steel components perform under dynamic forklift loading without experiencing permanent bending (elastic limit failure).

Procedure: Racks and pallets are placed in our onsite hydraulic stress testing bed. We apply a test load equal to 1.5 times the rated load capacity (e.g., testing at 2,250kg for a 1,500kg rated capacity). In compliance with EN 15635, the elastic deflection ratio (the maximum vertical bending of the beam under load divided by the length of the span) must not exceed L/200. After removing the load, the structural steel must return to its original form with zero permanent deformation.
